Wild Ones – Plant Natives! Healing the Earth, one yard at a time. The landscape of the Fox Valley region was nearly unchanged for thousands of years, until about 200 years ago.  Now, very little native flora remains, even in our ‘wild’ areas. Planting native plants in home landscapes has a positive effect on our environment by restoring bird, insect and pollinator habitats. Loris Damerow, past president of Wild Ones Fox Valley Area Chapter, will talk about the beauty and durability of native plants and explain the vital role that they play in sustainable living.
